Winter storage is ready for the 2026-2027 Season.

Winter Storage at the Fairgrounds offers a convenient, secure place to store RV's, Boats, Campers, Cars, Trailers, Toys and other seasonal equipment during the off-season. Keep your investment protected from winter weather while freeing up space at home.
What to Expect
To help streamline our rental process and better prepare for the upcoming season, we will begin accepting rental agreements and payments on October 1, 2026 for the 2026-2027 rental season.
Please note that there is no automatic right of renewal. Rental agreements will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to space availability.
Space is not considered reserved until the rental agreement has been fully executed by both parties and all required fees have been paid.
Drop Off
Storage drop-off begins the last week of October each year.
For the 2026-2027 season, storage drop-off will begin Monday, October 26, 2026.
Drop-offs are available Monday-Friday, with hours varying based on staff availability and schedules. We require calling ahead to schedule your drop-off time so we can make sure someone is here to assist you.
When arriving for storage, you are responsible for backing in and parking your own item(s). Our staff will guide you into your designated space and assist with directions, but we are unable to move or park your item(s) for you.
Before bringing your item in for storage, please make sure:
- Fuel levels are empty or as low as possible.
- All batteries are disconnected.
- Your item is ready to be safely parked and remain stationary for the duration of storage.
Pick Up
Storage removal will begin no earlier than Monday, March 15, 2027, and all items MUST be removed no later than Friday, March 26, 2027.
All storage removals will be scheduled and coordinated through the Jerome County Fair Office. Your scheduled pickup time will be based on the location of your item within the storage barn, so please be prepared to arrive at your agreed upon time.
When picking up your item, please come prepared to reconnect batteries, fuel, and any other necessary equipment needed to safely get your item ready for transport. Our staff can assist with access and direction, but owners are responsible for making sure their items are properly prepared to leave the property.
Items not removed by April 1, 2027, will be towed at the owner's expense.
Please plan accordingly and make arrangements well in advance of the final pickup deadline.
Rates
Size of area used for storage: Length x $15 PER FOOT = Total Fee
** Length includes everything from hitch to bumper and anything extending beyond. **
