Parade Information

Date: Saturday, August 8, 2026

Times: Line up starts: 8am | Final line up: 9:30am | Parade starts: 10am

Route: Jerome High School to 10th Ave E to Jerome Middle School

This is a NEW PARADE ROUTE this year as we pivot with the Main Street construction project. Thanks for understanding!

Theme & Contest: Stars, Stripes, & Summer Nights - Judges will be selecting their three favorite floats based on on theme, originality, and overall appearance. Decorating into the theme scores extra points! There will be a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winner announced on the Fair's Facebook page.

Registration: Pre-registration is required. May 25th thru August 7th at 4pm, register your float. No entries will be taken after this time at the Fair Office, online, or at the parade check-in.

Cost: $10 per entry (View rules & route section for specifics.)
No refunds will be issued.

Rules & Route

Register your float - You need one registration per float. Limit is “one” vehicle per business entry. Vehicle must be there at check-in.
- One vehicle and one ATV counts as one entry.
- One vehicle and one ATV with a trailer counts as two entries.
- 5 horses counts as one entry.
Day of, ALL entries must check-in and receive a number at the registration area.
- Entry check-in is at East H & Tiger Drive in front of South Central Community Health District.
- Floats enter from East Ave H. Semis and heavy equipment enter from Nez Perce & South Tiger Drive (100 South).
When assigned a line up position, park in that order and stay by your float at all times. Do not move into parade route until directed.
- Placement: First come, first served basis and/or at the discretion of the Parade Chairman.
Check with volunteers before unloading all horses and related equipment. Additional parking & horse trailer parking is available on the north side of Glen Eagle subdivision.
Respect and be courteous to volunteers as they are truly VOLUNTEERS doing a great thing for this community.
Due to limited space, floats are to be assembled PRIOR to entering the staging area. Final prep ONLY is allowed at lineup.
Entries must have Fair theme on them. 2026 is Stars, Stripes, & Summer Nights.
Pick up all your trash and candy wrappers.
In the interest of safety, NO water guns from floats are allowed. THROWING CANDY is also not allowed, however, you may walk and hand out candy, swag, and other materials.
Parade route ends turning south on Date Street from the Jerome Middle School.
